In spite of my rage that this flight path goes right over my house, I got some nice shots of Clayton, U City and WUSTL.

^The trouble with having the airport so close to the cecity is that everyone lives close to the airport with everything that means. That's a nice climbout. Fun picture! :)

Came across these online today...not sure if they've been posted here before.  But, pretty great shots.  From SkylineScenes.com

^I particularly like the last one, with Laclede's Landing in the foreground.

Imagine if Clayton didn't have a downtown, and all their current buildings were moved to downtown STL. The density would be amazing.

Or they'd be scattered in unwalkable office parks?

Yep. That’s exactly what would have happened.

This is my favorite.  Recent photo that shows both downtowns and the green summer trees between Clayton and CWE.  And the Arch sticks above the distant horizon, which shows the high bluffs across the river in Illinois.

Not a recent photo, though. Shows neither the latest Centene tower, nor One Hundred, nor One Cardinal Way. Heck, it doesn't even have 212 South Meramec.

SC4Mayor's pics don't show them either. We need some serious updating.

^ For sure, I’m a ways behind. If the group wants to crowdfund a helicopter tour for me, that’d be great hehe. That’s my next goal.

Came across this promotional video for the Gateway Heights townhome development in Richmond Heights.  Looks like it was done within the last month.  Took some screenshots:

^ Nice shots!!

Would be quite the sight if they can get the two proposed towers going while the current cranes are still up. That many cranes in such a small space would look really cool!

^ There should be a couple more cranes in Clayton before the current ones come down and those other larger proposals move forward.  Both Bemiston and the AC Hotel will likely require them and both are in initial stages of construction already.

^That'd look significantly different now, what with new towers in the fore, middle, and even background. That said, it is a glorious pic. :)

My new office views. Directly in sight are Forsyth Pointe, Ceylon, and the Bemiston Place construction pit. 😎 With any luck, this will also be my front-row seat to the AC Clayton and other proposed new towers construction! If I don't get fired quickly, I will keep this view updated with the big changes as they appear.

I've always liked the seperate downtowns, personally. It gives it a twin city feel. Kinda like "St. Louis is too big for one downtown footprint so it had to build another" type feel LOL
