Anyone hear anything more about this?

Work is currently underway and they hope to be open in about 6 weeks.

Good to see another business coming downtown. Just in case people didn't know though, this is a staple downtown currently has. Erker's eyewear is on the southside of Olive near the Culinaria area. Besides carrying eyewear they have an optomitrist in Wednesday mornings and have been downtown for 100 years. If Clarkson is successful, perhaps it will encourage them to have an optomistrist on site more often.

Yeah, I mentioned it in my blog a few weeks ago. I was surprised that they're moving in right across the street from Erker's, but some commenters pointed out that Erker's only offers eye exams once a week. They do have some great frames at Erker's though.
