The $208 was after it paid out alot of refunds. There were refunds in 2024 too but not as much. I would say the baselines without refunds is about $227-230 starting in 2023

I certainly don't have a better reason why BPV was up $13M those years but *any* restaurant in *any* city doing $10M in business is exceedingly rare and I am skeptical that Katie's did that. When Busch is sold out, Katie’s does about $70,000 during that day. Now Busch hasn’t been sold out a lot lately but it doesn’t change the dynamic much. Police Board of Commissioners is suing the city, asking a court to compel the city to give the board an "adjusted allocation" of $67.6 million, which they say the city is underpaying the department.
The petition alleges the city intentionally withheld the Rams principal and unreserved general fund balances from calculations tied to the police department’s minimum allocation and says the city’s actions left “tens of millions of dollars” unavailable for police operations.
"Since 2022, the mayor and Board of Aldermen have discussed multiple plans to spend Rams settlement principal. Local press have reported that respondents are now discussing another new plan to spend the Rams settlement," the lawsuit states. "Specifically, the city intends to divert this money without consideration of its statutorily required use — public safety — to fund the various desires of the current elected officials of the city."
