I've always wondered why the Orion has that weird stepped-back facade along Euclid. Still not sure whether I like it or not.
The Orion is cheesy. What could've been a sleek, modern standout instead just looks like a boring clunky faux-historic imposter that's been done to death in this city, and not very well in many cases. Something bold and contemporary, a la the Piazza in Philly would've really turned some heads:
