The master of the digital camera strikes again!

I wonder what the "planned redevelopment" of the Mednik building on Forest Park is. Lab space, perhaps? It's right across from the new CORTEX building, after all.

That's what I assumed when I drove by it the first time. We'll see I guess. So much going on. I love it.

With the major expansion of BJC and WashU medical facilities one wonders will WashU and related hospital BJC ever outpace Harvard and its related hospital. WashU is second in medicine behind Harvard. Then Harvard's medical expansion and clout come to mind with their East coast location, IV league stature and clamor, and larger medical atmosphere make me assume the answer is a no. Sadly, Boston's universities are not connected medically like SLU and WashU, but if they did then we wopuld definitely be beat. I love WashU and SLU for all they do GOOD in STL, and mourn over what they do BAD like taking over Forest Park Southeast. However, the effects of the current WashU/BJC build up have yet to make their mark or be seen or even predicted to their entirety.
