Andy Trivers views cities like St. Louis as organic entities, undergoing continual decay and renewal. He sees his architecture firm's role as recycling the best of the old, so the city's sense of itself reflects the past and points to the future. We spoke at his office on Broadway.

I really enjoyed this article. I love to see an architect that is really committed to urban design and renovation. As for the Century building part, I don't know if he really had a choice in what to say, although I don't know how he actually felt about it.
