It's certainly an improvement over what was being designed when I was there, but it's still blah. But what do you expect in Crestwood? I'm surprised this got approved so quietly since I honestly thought NIMBYs would throw a fit due to size. They threw a fit over the Crestwood City Center plans. Although I think this one will only see real opposition if they seek a tax incentive.

Seems like something that would go up in a place like Crestwood.

I think it's alright. It's better than most stuff that they build.

Well other than being far more dense than any development I know of in Crestwood!

I’m pretty sure this is dead. Sign back up for sale. There was a public hearing on 5/3 that I assume didn’t go well.

Just noticed "The Wayne" project at the same location.

https://www.cityofcrestwood.org/422/Phase-1-Final-Development-Plan--The-Wayn

The site plan seems the same, but the renderings at the above link are different. And is "Zuma Beach One, LLC" and or "VE Design Management" related to Lux Living? Nothing seems to be happening at this site, but this is the first I've seen of this version of the plan.

Hmmm...

VE Design Group designed many of Lux's buildings.
The registered agent for Zuma Beach One, LLC is Lux's lawyer.

And even more students impacting the Lindbergh school district More residences,  but will the school district have more bus drivers support staff teachers and classroom space?

^Based on the clientele in Lux's other properties, I highly doubt any substantial amount of school aged children (PreK-12) will be living here. Residents of Lux properties are typically early 20-mid 30 year-olds who are either single or in a relationship but not yet married. Granted this is Crestwood, but I imagine the demographics will remain mostly the same.

This project appears to be moving forward again. Crestwood Board of Aldermen unanimously approved.

The go-kart track that currently occupies one of the retail spaces that is being redeveloped is being pushed out.
