Does anyone know what's going on in the house just east of Cafe Ventana at 3915 West Pine? There's a lot of rehab work going on. I'm curious if it's housing, retail, or what. The city assessor's website lists the owner only as 3915 West Pine LLC, which has the same address as the Padda Institute, a doctor's office. Any clues?

Dr. Padda is an owner of Cafe Ventana, IIRC. I believe that building will have something to do with Cafe Ventana. It's a great looking house - I'll be interested to see what they do with it.

Dr. Padda and his partner now apparently own a ton of restaurants. There's a new Ventana going into Collinsville; they also are the backers of Chuy's and the new Sanctuaria in the Grove (formerly Agave), whose chef is Chris Lee from Ventana.

Joe, do you know if the Cathedral Square Brewery mentioned in your blog is up and running? I tried their beer at Eclipse and noticed that it's available at Chaifetz.

Where is this place because it's definitely not at 3914 Lindell? Someone is contract brewing is my guess.
