It looks like this property is still being marketed, although the Summer 2009 move in is unlikely. Hard to believe a home builder would break ground right now. The Gundaker site says it's 50% sold/leased, but I'm not sure if that is to be trusted. Here are the links for the Coldwell Banker and Piper Properties sites for what is being marketed as "The Plaza Condominiums on the Park". There are a lot of renderings/floorplans at both sites.

Piper Properties

12 apartments with ground-level retail and a patio out back. It looks good, and would look even better without the balconies.

I like the balconies. Not crazy about the way it seems to break the established building line on Mississippi, though.

Yeah it is a little weird, but you see that sometimes in other parts of the city where houses will have one setback line and corner commercial buildings have another. I can think of a few spots in Fox Park on Russell where the buildings are like that, so I guess there's a precedent.

Thanks for the email. We've pushed the start back to fall of '09…making the condos available in the Summer/Early Fall of 2010. Our reservation fee is 1% of the purchase price and is fully refundable. I have attached floor plans under 1600 SF and a price sheet for all condos. I'd like to drop off some brochures for each unit so you can see them better. How does the timeline for these condos work for you?

Edited for relevant content. From an email the developer sent me a while ago when I inquired about pricing.

Is this Piper outfit also doing a house on 9th near the soulard community garden? I think that's what I saw on my walk today.
