Other than the fake balcony things, it's honestly pretty perfect. We could use another 100 of these around the city.

It's about the best you can expect to see from this type of apartment building nowadays. Somewhat related to the occupancy rate - a friend of mine was looking for an Airbnb near me and sent a link...it was a place in this building. I wonder if the company is holding some from being leased to use for Airbnb, or if it's a tenant (multiple?) putting their place up to make some cash?
Could be the landlord. I stayed in a studio apt in Mpls that was listed by the landlord. Could be the solution for the street level apt instead of street level retail since it takes a lot more people to support such retail these days.
I don't know for certain it's the one that EssTeeEll saw on AirBnB, but I know for sure the company lists some units as short-term rentals. If tenants need a unit for a weekend visitor they can set it up directly through the building management.
