1. Who wants Del Taco right now?

2. Who thinks that the design of the Del Taco on Grand is the best fast food restaurant design of all time? Discuss.

It is a pretty cool design. I can't remember what it was before Del Taco, but it was something else. It does sound good right now too.

BTW, I moved the thread into projects and construction, since it is not residental.

Del Taco was a Naugles (not sure if that's how you spell it) which was basicallly Del Taco, but not as greasy.

This building was originally a bank (not sure which one) before it became a Naugles. You can still visualize the drive through lanes. My roomate in college used to work at that Naugles. I can still smell him walking through the door at night.

Anyone remember Flaco's Tacos? That place was awesome! Its hottest sauce came in a black packet with a skull and crossbones on it!

I loved Flaco's Tacos! And way back in the day, we used to head to Naugles on Grand after the bars closed and load up on food to take home and devour. There was always a long line around that building to the drive thru right after the bars closed. Same thing for White Castle on Vandeventer and Choteau. And the Eat Rite on Choteau. Those were the days! A miracle I survived-lol. The Naugles (Del Taco?) building is great and I can see how it was a bank.

I went to all those places back in the day, not to mention Irv's on Vandeventer!

I definitely miss Flaco's. They had a downtown location as well, but when they expanded into Maryland Heights, apparently they started bleeding cash and packed up and moved to the west coast.

Viva Los Flacos!
