I work just around the corner from the good pie and popped in yesterday to grab a menu after noticing some comings and goings. I asked if they were open yet and the bartender said, "no, but would you like some pizza?"
A minute later, I was sampling a Margherita. Excellent. They are opening this week, either Thursday or Friday. Inside, the place feels like it has been there for 20 years - very warm and kind of dark, all brick and coziness, with just the right touch of rough edges.
The winter menu features ten pizzas, three salads and a dozen or so small plates.
