North St. Louis, no windows.

Sounds like Blairmont's trademark.

It should open up to Streetview of 3130 N Sarah St. If not, just type it in.

Should we have like a Blairmont megathread just filled with Street View pics of Blairmont's shame?

I can't say for sure this is a Blairmont house. I just assumed.

Fortunately, the rest of the street seems relatively intact. There are a couple of boardups.

If this is a Blairmont House, I don't see the point. Most of the houses look occupied and in good shape. I don't see how he can wipe out the whole block.

Is this another one?

3658 Aldine Ave. No windows. Next to the Laclede Gas truck, there.

Different part of North St. Louis. More empty block.

Thanks for any info.

Try doing some research on the City's property info site and find out:

Or just check Rob Power's Built St. Louis blog and see if these addresses come up as part of his continuing series about Blairmont houses.

I came in half-way on this. I've seen 'Blairmont' thrown around.

What is a 'Blairmont' home? Some absentee landlord? A developer sitting on property?

thanks

You can search the owners via the city's Geo St. Louis service.

However, these addresses are not related to "Blairmont." (Background here.) That term refers to properties owned by companies set up by developer Paul J. McKee, Jr. McKee's companies mainly buy property in the Old North St. Louis, St. Louis Place and JeffVanderLou neighborhoods with some acquisition in Carr Square, Lucas Heights and Dowtown West. McKee;s target area is roughly bounded by Grand Avenue on the west, Martin Luther King Boulevard on the south, I-70 on the east, and Branch Street/Natural Bridge on the north.
