Wow! I was wondering what was going to happen with that short strip of abandoned buildings. Gives me hope that the strip of crappy buildings around 4552 Manchester will get turned into something cool like this.

Perfectly located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The Grove is on fire right now! Now let’s hope that the auto repair shop at Chouteau-Vandeventer comes down.

That looks great to me. There's tons of modern infill going up in the Grove right now, so I'm happy to see some quality historic design join the mix. Love the scale.

Interesting that this is coming from Core 10, because they're mostly known for clean, contemporary work.

I keep waiting for the N&M Market lot to get bought out and replaced with an apartment complex... culinaria/bodega on the ground floor would be nice.

KMOV - From vacant buildings to new apartment complex, new development looks to continue Grove restoration
They are seeking tax abatement for the $18 million dollar project, either at 100 percent for eight years or 80 percent for 10 years.

Some demolition work was done over the summer. Besides that, nothing new to report.

Walked by the site yesterday and it's an empty lot with no activity. Looks like they aren't planning to start anytime soon either considering they planted grass...

^ am i imagining things or does Restoration tend to sit on properties for a really long time?

really sh*tty that they demo'd 4 or 5 homes to plant grass.

if this doesn't happen in a reasonable amount of time Restoration needs to be held accountable.

Not dead according to Harry at Restoration STL. They should be ready to proceed by Fall.
