About two weeks ago I was at a restaurant waiting for carry out when a Clayton police officer came in.

He was asked by the host about JP Fields and he said the delivery truck hit a main support beam at the worst possible spot with a lot of force. He also said the city of Clayton, St. Louis County were having a hell of a time with the JP Fields and delivery drivers insurance company. Partially because the insurance companies wanted in and the County was worried the building would collapse but they were being poo pood off and that the building was fine. If true, it looks like the County inspectors were right.
