Looks like to me only two of those properties (the ones on on College & Maffit) are classic demo-worthy.

4431 Finney looks just like the History Museum. Basically it's one of two buildings giving Ranken a sense of history (which goes back to 1907). No way that should come down.

The site notes the permit was issued 6/5/15

It appears the site posted the wrong photo. The building Ranken is demolishing is actually the Western Sheet Metal Building, which is the low building to the west and across the street from the neoclassical structure.
