News release today that Nelly/St. Lunatics and Metro Boomin will put on a hip hop and country music festival in St. Louis. No other details released.
Anyone have insight to where this may be taking place? Riverfront would be awesome. Fairground Park would be a great way to bolster North City but lack of hotels, etc probably won’t let that happen despite the park itself being in good shape. I think I’d rather see either of those than Forest Park since evolution is already there. Worried that Maryland Heights amphitheater will offer up some crazy deal to get it.
Also, not clear whether this will be a one time thing or if they are trying to establish something. Metro Boomin has strong contacts in the music industry so he could definitely pull in big acts.
