Was not able to find any mention elsewhere, but Garcia Properties appears to have completed a conversion of the old Lindenwood Baptist School at 6942 Lansdowne Ave into at least 12 apartments. There was a previous development proposal over a decade ago to convert this long vacant school into senior living, but I think market rate apartments make more sense. I am really happy with their cleanup of the exterior of the buildings, especially the new accent lighting. The interiors I think are particularly uninspired, and I can't imaging paying nearly $1200 a month to live in one of these apartment. Still, I am pretty satisfied that this long vacant building is being put to use bringing more residents into Lindenwood Park. It appears that all but two units are leased, do not know if it is quite move in ready yet.

There's a demo permit application for 6846 Fyler at Jamieson. Anyone know if there's a replacement of some sort coming? I don't see any land assemblage with surrounding properties.

Drove by yesterday to see that this building has been completely demoed.  It was a cute little storefront, so my fingers are crossed that this is being replaced with something that provides a better use of this land.  Anyone have any visibility into what will be replacing it?

The gas station at Jamison and Fyler is going to be replaced by a bigger gas station. The house to the east is being demolished and a $1.5M building permit issued.
