A new development on 8th between Russell and Allen is nearing completion. It looks great and I haven't got any idea who developed or built it.

I used to live in an apartment right across the street from it on 8th. My friend now lives there, and I have to say that development looks alot better than the abandoned building that was there. I wonder why there are still abandoned buildings in Soulard at all, because it's a pretty established neighborhood.



Anyway, talk about a prime spot for Mardi Gras... it was a little too prime for me, though.

half are for sale and the other, for rent.

By the way, I think they're calling it "SOMA". I'm assuming because it's south of the market.

I heard today that the list price for the units is about $280,000! Can't believe this except for the linked ad which shows $283K.
