Salvation Army has listed their two regional headquarters buildings for $5.07 million. The two buildings combined are ~46,700 square feet.

The two buildings classify as Class C space and are functionally obsolete, according to the Salvation Army.

They are looking to buy or lease new office space, 23,000 to 30,000 of Class A or B, to house 80 employees. They are considering both St. Louis City and County.

I'd personally like to see the city persue them to move to the a cheap office market with lots of Class A available.

I'm concerned that the Salvation Army buildings on Hampton will be replaced by a QT or some sort of drive thru fast food restaurant.

You could four drive-thru coffee places there!

Best hope might be the Cortona people developing it.

It's been hard to get good development along that stretch of Hampton in recent years. After the Mercedes dealer and that apartments at Manchester, all it's been is Slim Chickens, Starbucks, and now a cannabis shop.

Can't imagine there's too much demand for an old office building. And I don't know if apartments would work there.

I didn't realize before glancing at google maps that Salvation Army's parking lot behind the building is huge. I definitely think that they could use the site for an apartment complex.

Could be another car dealership, adding to Mercedes and Toyota.

I think expanding the Highlands to Hampton best possible use.
