This is cool....

Artists and spouses Pat and Carol Schuchard plan to convert a one-time Lion's Club dance hall into an event center, offices, conference space and storefront.

The 87-year-old building at 7150 Manchester Avenue—almost directly on the St. Louis-Maplewood boundary—has 12,000 square feet of space. The property the Schuchards bought for $370,000 also has a 150-car parking lot....

This January, the Schuchards paid $170,000 for the St. Louis Artist’s Guild building at 812 Union Boulevard. They are rehabbing the century-old building and plan to reopen it this fall as a gallery, event center and a theater called the Boo Cat Club.

Looks like the Manchester address may be Maplewood (with the lot in STL) but not sure. The Boo Cat Club is at Union & Enright, nice to see more and more investment north of Delmar.

If the marble marker is in the correct spot, then your right.

We'll see what this does to the eastern end of Manchester Rd. in Maplewood. It would be nice to see this grow into something more lively (like what's going on between Bellevue and Sutton.)

The Manchester building currently has a faux-Tudor facade. I can't wait to see it renovated.

The building on Union is VERY cool.

Now if we can just get something better into those two weird bars next door/across the street.

7168 Manchester is the last city address. Legal definition is 600 feet west of the center line of McCausland, fwiw. The granite marker is a little too far east.

I'm guessing the change in pavement is a better indicator?

The border may cross the street there and then run along the line between the street and properties to the west a little bit.
