Here's a new website tracking major development in Metropolitan St. Louis.

This is not a "first to break" or "breaking news" development website.

This website is designed to track or "catalog" major area projects from beginning (announcement) to end (completion).

CRANETRACKERSTL.com

The website has been completely designed by me over the last few months. More projects will be added (or clarified) as time goes on.

A big thanks Paul Sableman (stlexplorer) and moorlander - and others - for allowing use of their photos and media.

Well done! Man, you put hours of hard work into that site!!
I especially enjoyed the projects in the County/St Charles as I rarely make it out that way. Had no idea there were that many projects going on all over!
Also, I need to make it up near UMSL. The Natural Bridge/115 project looks fantastic! That could be a huge game-changer for the area.

^ MoDOT is very proud of that job.

Also hearing that stl county, MoDOT, metro, stl economic dev. partnership are putting in for a FHWA/FTA grant to bring in national experts to study West Florrisant (270 to Cass) for potential great streets

Thank You! Glad you enjoyed your experience. I'm gonna keep tweaking it, of course. Found some broken links and stuff, but it's a LOT of work. It should get better - but not so bad now - that it is FINALLY launched.

One of the reasons I did this is because St. Louis can be too provincial. People are clueless about the scope of projects happening (or that are proposed).

The county and river barriers keep people from being able to see what's really going on in the metro. As I was doing this I was sh*t..........."there is so much going on" and it was a daunting task to build this. A few people have already expressed that they didn't know so much was happening.

The 115 project was particularly awesome.

I added some Metro East projects last night.

LOL! The pics are coming!!! And as I post them, it's important to remember that the little cranes are just as important as the big ones.
