First off this is my first photo thread and i'm a little nervous. I've spent hours looking at all the great photography on here and have been very impressed. The quality of the images might not be the best because they were taken with a 4 year old camera a friend gave me until I buy a new one.

These pictures were taken Friday afternoon (the weather and sky was crazy) and Saturday. I'll separate them by day. Many of the pictures were taken at Cochran Gardens Housing project which is in the process of being demolished. I've always had an interest in public housing and made a point of stopping by when I got into town. Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys!

Fantastic shots, Neonrad. You don't need to be embarrassed of anything.

Thanks for sharing!

I'm intrigued by the building in the last photo.

Yeah I really liked that building too. I just kind of found it on my way home. It's on N Florissant a block north of Saint Louis Ave.

Cochran Garden is really sad. All that decay has happened in the past six months. I'm not sure why they closed it. I think I read somewhere it was one of the first all tenant ran public housing complexes in the country.

The sky in the second photo is scary.

Thanks for taking pictures of the North Side. People need to see what is occurring up there. I still believe that the public has no idea how wonderful the architecture really is.

Pretty nice. I don't know why you would be nervous.

Any Ideas for that building? It's blocks between St Louis Place and Crown Candy (14yh St Mall) 1-2 Blocks E&W. 2821 N Florrisant. Blairmont doesn't own it (just all else near) (Assessor site is great).
