I was home this past weekend for a wedding and visited Global Brew across from this project. It was apparently approved as proposed because it's topped off now at five stories. I think it's a great fit for downtown Edwardsville. It's urban in design and, while taller than anything else downtown, doesn't look out of place as it fits in well with the courthouse and related buildings downtown.

The Riverbender recently had an article on it. Anchor tenants will be Madison Mutual Insurance who is currently located by SIUe and a law firm from Glen Carbon. Completion is scheduled for January: https://www.riverbender.com/articles/de ... -14361.cfm.
