I have clients in Foristell, please allow me to share my P.O.V., although you know what it is.
The mayor is right, one word: gridlock.
More suburban devestation of the rural areas. This development maybe dense, however, it will bring tract housing, which is one thing this area does not have.
The tract housing is already creeping along HWY N, parallel to 40, towards Foristell. Every time I drive out there, I can predict what it will look like in a few short years.
Lets all clap our hands... Ill start!
*clap* *clap* *clap*
When is this going to end? I am sorry but rural areas, to many people on this forum, may seem useless, however, nature is also important. I do not want to see these areas destroyed in the suburban fashion. Winghaven was farmland, and now its sprawl, with a great movie theater!
"The new homes, he says, could result in discharge of 500,000 to 1 million gallons of sewage daily into Peruque Creek. He said the flow could threaten Lake Saint Louis, about 10 miles downstream"
EXTREME problem. Lake St. Louis is already a giant cesspool!
STOP developing westward!
Rural areas have a certian peace, that one cannot experience in the city, or the suburbs. It is unique, however, I got tired of it, and wanted something better. This is slowly it is being destroyed by endless sprawl. A line needs to be drawn.
