A "power outage". As in, they didn't pay the bill?

^Possible they had damage from the outage and loss of inventory.

Makes sense dropping the big-buck items from the menu; this place screams "bar food", not "steakhouse". Scaling down the floor space is smart, too. Now if they could just move the joint about six blocks south and six blocks east, they might be onto something.

Hopefully they'll upgrade the beer selection.

IIRC, they were offered space in the new 600 Washington development (where π is now going) but chose to open in the current location.

Let's face it; this place just never fit in on Washington Ave.

^agree 100%. They were a major outlier. The good thing is the retail space has been rehabbed and ready for occupancy.

Where do you think it could fit? CLoser to the ballpark like Mike Shannons? Maybe one day it will be in BPV, if that ever gets built.

Two good locations come to mind: 1.) The new Cupples Station building that is currently being developed, which is just one block from the stadium. 2.) The Mercantile Exchange development. It's further from the stadium, but is centrally located and should get a lot of foot traffic when anything's going on downtown. Also, it seems like a themed restaurant like Ozzie's would fit in with the entertainment district concept they are putting together.

I hope that when they re-tool and re-locate, they also fix the service. I live a block away and was excited to hear that it was opening, but every time I go there, I get terrible service. Once had a party of six, on game day, and 3 of us got our meals and were able to finish them before the other 3 even got their meals. Needless to say we were late for the game and all the waitress did was blame the kitchen...

Similar things happened on different occasions, which caused me to stop going... I wish them luck, but they better fix it!
