At the corner of Clayton and Clarkson, the building has been knocked down in the last couple days. I moved to the area around '96, and it was Patrick's, then Wilber & Gil's, Jackie Smith's, and lastly Buffet City. There may have been one other restaurant in there during that time, but I can't remember.

I am crossing my fingers that they will build a bank on that corner to compete with the Bank of America and Southwest Bank on the other corners of that intersection!

^ Well, what clearly doesn't belong there is a restaurant. I lived in the area growing up and there was a never ending cycle of crappy restaurants in that spot and none could stay open.

Maybe they should just extend the strip mall a bit further south rather than try something else. The location doesn't have the corner visibility that a bank would want. Maybe Walgreen's would be interested in building a new pad site at that end to replace their older store elsewhere on the site.

Gee, who could have guessed a place called Buffet City didn't last?

they could have just called it "Lotsa Crappy Food"

Is this the building next to Daniel Boone Library?
