on the west side of Euclid, between Forest Park Ave. and Laclede, is under new management. They closed on the 23rd, and the sign in the window says they'll open again August 1st, following renovations of their space. Since I'm a dedicated omnivore, I've never had reason to eat there, but my meat-averse friends always like the place.

I haven't been there in a couple years and I'll tell you why... as a resident of the CWE I still remember the Sunshine Inn, and I was happy to see a new vegetarian restaurant fill the void. However, Eternity ALWAYS seemed to be out of just about EVERYTHING on their menu. I went there a few times to give them a fair shot, but after literally trying to order 5 different menu items and being told "we're out of that today" I say good riddance. Haven't been back since. I hope the new management gets their sh*t together because vegetarian dining is sorely needed in the CWE, and the city in general.

They sucked. I ran into the same thing one time of them being out of like 4 items. Before I got to 5 I walked out and got a salad at Toms.

When I would go to Racanelli's, which is right across the street, it always seemed have a decent crowd.

Sounds like it had been dying a slow death.
