I love hearing about stuff like this:

Marketing Matters will relocate in early March from Creve Coeur to the former State Farm Insurance building at 2315 Pine St. downtown. Scott Miller, Marketing Matters' owner, paid $680,000 for the 8,500-square-foot building, which will provide more space, an on-site video production studio and gated parking for the growing advertising and marketing firm. Miller said the company doubled its staff in 2004, to 16 employees, and recorded a 37 percent increase in revenue growth to $16 million. Clients include the Brown & Crouppen law firm, Baker Pool & Spa, Fortel's Pizza Den, Abelard Construction, Helitech Foundation Repair and Waterproofing, and Bassett Furniture Direct, in which Miller has an ownership interest.

I love hearing things like this as well. I want to rub it in creve couerites face and tell them how much their city is loosing population and businesses are leaving.

I'm looking forward to the day when companies like master card relocate downtown leaving vacant space in St. Charles county.

And you can always give them the "Last one out of Creve Coeur, please turn off the lights" line!

It's great that this business has chosen to relocate in the City, but a loss of population and business in Creve Coeur is probably not a good thing. It is very unlikely that St. Louis City is the one absorbing the majority of Creve Coeur's loss. The more likely scenario is that people are relocating to further out suburbs in West St. Louis County and St. Charles County.
