There's a picture of Tony Faust's restaurant circa 1888 on the wall at Teutenberg's. It would be incredible if a developer would build a replica of that place in downtown! It appears to have been two-stories with an incredible third story rooftop beer garden.

I used to assume the current placement of Faust's in the Adams Mark was the historic location, but it was on Elm, which once ran between Walnut and Clark. See #37 on plate 24 of Pictoral St. Louis 1875
