The Hartford Coffee company has extended their Sunday evening hours and will remain open through 7:00 PM. They are located on the residential corner of Hartford Street and Roger Place, just one block south of Arsenal at Tower Grove Park in the Tower Grove South neighborhood. The coffee shop was designed with a child-friendly play area and offers FREE wireless Internet access to patrons.

Why does this coffee house close dso darn early on weekdays?

According to Brian Marston over at <A HREF="http://www.thecommonspace.org/">The Commonspace</A>, the Hartford Coffee Company will be opening up their second-floor space for grown-ups and calling it the "Java Lounge." It will be open for a preview on Sunday, February 19th from 5:00 - 8:00 PM.



They have also changed their web address to http://www.hartfordcommunitycafe.com

I'm glad to see things are going well at Hartford Coffee. As the parent of a 2 y/o boy, this place is one of my favorite (and frequent) hangouts, hands down.



The one drawback IMHO was the lack of weekend evening hours, so I'm glad to see them expand their hours of operation. And the Java Lounge upstairs will only broaden its appeal- and the extra space is needed IMHO.
