The ONSL House Tour is on May 12. Anyone interested in going on the tour as an Urban STL group?

I will be there for a while at least, so I'm up for it.

I'm in. The house I rented is being rehabbed (again). I hope it's on the tour.

Here's a link to the website:

The tour is from 10am to 4pm. Tickets can be bought or picked up at the ONSL Restoration Group office.

Anyone have any ideas on when and where to meet?

I'll try to make it. Other than Crown Candy Kitchen, which figures to be quite crowded as always, is there another good central place to meet in the immediate area?

The tour starts from the corner of 14th and St. Louis, basically on the end of the mall. I think we should meet somewhere around there. There are some open spaces at that intersection where we could wait around until everyone gets there. For me, the closer to 10:00 am we meet, the better. I will only be able to be there for a little while in the morning. Theres a few of us that have replied to this thread that know what each other look like. For those of you that have never met any of us, there is a pic of me on the Old North blog at newoldnorth.blogspot.com (Hint, I'm Matt). What I could do is be at the table where everyone checks in. If we want, everyone could just come to me and I can direct people to the group of urbanstler's.

Don't forget every house tour ticket comes with a free ice cream cone from Crown Candy.

Should have told me sooner and I could have gotten you some of the actual posters. Thanks for the effort.

Anyone else interested?

When do we want to meet? I propose 10:00 am as the best time.

10:00am sounds good to me. Is there a specific location we should meet at after getting our tickets?

I wish I could go, but I'm going to be out of town this weekend. I really wanted to see the rehabs and the plans for future development!

well, I thought the ladyfriend was coming with, but it looks like I'm flying solo for this tour. I'm starting the <4hr. trek early Saturday morning to try to get to 14th & St. Louis by 10AM, but I am not a morning person! It'd be nice to meet some of you urbanstl forumers so maybe I'll be wearing a KC Royals cap or something to indentify myself as an outsider. I'd like to meet you, MattSTL, and hear about your experience as an ONSLRG intern, and maybe grab a Schlafly's w/ whoever's around before heading back home for Mother's Day.

So what's the plan then? Looks like the consensus is meet at 10 AM at the soon to be defunct pedestrian mall(14th and St. Louis Ave)

Sounds good to me. I'll be there before then, so guarantee from me that I won't be late.

Don't worry KC, Citylover has almost as long of a drive in.

You know who you are.

To tell you the truth, I forgot I ever changed your name on this forum, even if I knew that it was Suburban Lou on SSP, and the mod list says Suburban Lou.

Don't forget. Everyone here is invited. We are meeting at 10:00 am at the intersection of 14th and St. Louis. Right across the street from Crown Candy. If you did not purchase an advance ticket, you can get one for the low price of only $12.00. Even if you don't want to meet up with the group come out and enjoy the architecture and urban environment that is rapidly on the rebound, as well as your free ice cream cone from Crown Candy.

I'll go with you... But don't expect the same kind of company that you might expect from a ladyfriend...

Definitely was a nice day to walk around ONSL, there is a whole lot going on up there. Much more than I thought. I had a good time, good to meet some folks from the forum. Can't wait to see the pictures, especially of my old house. I seriously need a camera.

Nah, I wasn't... I was way too busy on Saturday to be able to go.

Glad to hear that it was a good trip though!
