Oh yeah, I saw that church on the Zillow Gone Wild group on FB not too long ago. Not too bad.

Ted Wight has lots of really nice  listings (mostly high-end Mid-Century). Here's one by the architect of the Muny (with another great shot of the Clayton skyline).

Vlademere Tarasenko's house is for sale for $6.2 million. Ice rink in the basement, of course.

^The stripper pole and the mirror wall are quite nice. Looks like a nice dance floor. The rink is . . . a bit smaller than I expected. I've installed bigger rinks on stages in theatres. Not sure it's big enough to have a goalie safely defending the net while someone takes shots. Maybe? Still impressive, mind.

Sorry to see it’s up for sale. Hopefully, like most Blues legends, he’ll be back in some shape and form. and if so, STL remembers…or wait……to put it more positively, STL never forgets.

Uffda!

A hidden gem in St. Louis Hills. I lived around there for several years, and never knew about this place:

One of the grand old mansions in the CWE recently sold for $4.15 million. I don't know the address, but it set a record for the neighborhood.

I  know we've got more than one train buff here, so I thought I'd share this story about a home for sale in Wildwood with a nicely finished model train layout in the basement. Looks to be three-rail O scale.

Here's what $7 million will get you in Branson (if sadle-shaped bar stools don't do it for you, maybe the lions-face fireplace will).

Given the purchase price and HTCs, this would be a home run to fix up, right?

Yep. So long as you’re a gc with subs lined up and cash on hand.

There’s a few of these around St. Louis. One made the Zillow Gone Wild TV show (there were several StL houses on the show).

I just wish we would have been able to save the German Protestant Church, St. Augustine and St. Liborius. It makes me really sick how much architecture and history we lost with churches in North St. Louis. You just don’t see towering brick churches anywhere else in the country and we had one in every neighborhood and we’ve lost some of the most significant ones, especially with Augustine and Liborius

The backyard/pool is cool, that facade/front facing garage looks awful.

It's also a wild price for 2 beds.
