Our next bout is tomorrow night, july 5th, at the all american sports mall at 55 and lindbergh. Doors at 7, game starts at 8. 2nd place stunt devils face off against 1st place m80s AND we will be debuting new rollergirls Danikka Doom, Suri O'Killer and Nikki Vixen. Totally sweet, right? The theme is American Derby- and civil servants get in for just 8 bucks.

Hope to see you there:)

Ps sorry I can't post a flyer- my innernets are down (my bunny ate the wires, actually) so I am confined to my trusty blackberry. Boo on me!

I just saw this post, and thought I'd put in my $.02. A group of us went to the derby earlier this month for the first time and had an absolute blast. None of us knew what to expect, but we all agreed we're heading to the next event this weekend!

And Carrie, if you're who I think you are, then you sat in front of me after the halftime festivities. You asked if you were blocking me, and we chatted for all of about two seconds. Nice to see you here!

Is this going to be one of those "loser leaves town" matches? If so, I'm guessing you guys are going to win.

No, often the scripts are written so that the loser has to leave town, forever. It build suspense. But since your team is based here, I suspect you are not scheduled to lose.

Yes, but that probably wasn't written as a "loser leaves town" match.

Wasnt it so exciting? I am so proud of my homegirls!

Even more exciting will be March 7th when Kansas City comes down to play our All Stars travel team. KC was #1 in the nation in 2007 (NYC is currently #1 with Chicago at #2). They are a really tight team.

Travel team games are so much fun and the other team usually bring a lot of their own fans. I'm thinking this one may sell out- I am surprised last weekend's game didnt sell out. I had to wait in a very long line to get in and almost missed the first jam.

I will def be getting there earlier on March 7th!

Alright! This is it!!! I am so excited for this game I could just pee. (hey I am pregnant, it happens!) Kansas City is coming to town! Kansas City is coming to town!

The 2007 National WFTDA Champions the Kansas City Roller Warriors are coming to the STL this Saturday night to give our Arch Rival All Stars a run (roll?) for their money. Not only were the KC girls Nat'l Champs in 2007 but they have also held annual rollerderby bootcamps for rollergirls all across the country to come and *bump* up their skills. This is a pretty big deal! I have been waiting for this night for 3 years! Omg omg omg

And now the official copy:

Ok, friends- its derby time again! This weekend my homegirls the Smashinistas face off against the Stunt Devils in a local bout aptly titled A Fistful of Fishnets. This should be a tightly matched game since last season the "Smashies" beat the "Stunts" once and lost to them once (and vice versa, obviously)

It will be a fierce battle! This Saturday night! Doors at 7, bout at 8pm!

Dont forget your 3 canned goods for a free raffle ticket to win some rollergirl swag 8)

Also, before the bout, the rollergirls are running in their skivvies for charity!

Yep, that's right! ARRG is running 5000 meters in their favorite undergarments!

The Colon Cancer Alliance's (CCA) 1st Annual St. Louis Undy 5000 event will take place on Saturday, March 28th, 2009 and the Arch Rival Roller Girls have their very own team.

ARRG's current goal is $1250.00 and they are really close. If you would like to donate please do by clicking: http://cca.convio.net/site/TR?team_id=3 ... 00&pg=team

XOXOXO
