^ Researching the Skybox/The Levee/King Louie's space, I was told at Skybox that they were NOT officially closed, “just reconfiguring the space,” and that King Louie's Courtyard Bar and Pizzeria will operate in the rear of the existing Skybox space.

I noted Sherlock Froeb’s update from his blog (and King Louie’s major league ad in the RFT), and parroted their Sept 21 opening date (which apparently did not happen).

Skybox’s website currently links to a Nelly and friends music site and there is no listed phone nor website for King Louie’s. Weird? Yes. Confusing? That, too. Get it together, guys.

Weird.
Apparently it is now something called North 40. Not sure when that happened. Since Miss Nights closed, I only get to the Landing once per year for the Blues Fest, even though I only live 10 blocks away.
Schlafly Beer Check out Big Smith at "North 40", a new bar where Skybox used to be (they don't have a website yet.) 800 N. 3rd Street in STL. Doors at 8pm, show at 9:15. $8 cover. They just put Schlafly Pale Ale on draft!

Well, Big Muddy Blues Festival is this weekend at Laclede's Landing. Might be a good time to check out North 40 as well.
