Wraps are good sometimes as it offers up a little bit of variety, but they can be tacky (Injury Law ads like 411-PAIN and B&C Brown & Crouppen come to mind). I enjoy going around the world to many cities taking pictures and recordings of buses/trains/public transport. However, as a transit enthusiast, I try avoid riding buses that are fully wrapped as the visibility inside makes it hard sometimes to view out the windows. I also noticed some cities buses are only partially wrapped with only the middle windows wrapped. I am told by those transit agencies drivers and some riders complained about visibilty.symphonicpoet wrote: ↑Dec 14, 2019^I'll have to agree that the new logo really made the new scheme more appealing. That said . . . it was hard to parse. Maybe they sent it off for a redesign. Hopefully someone can come up with something fresh that is also legible. And looks good with the new paint.
Also: I like the wraps. They add variety. And busses always have advertising. It's part of what makes them busses, right? In the 80s it was kind of billboard things. Now it's wraps. Whatever works.
All said I still prefer a clean look without ads on the side of buses, but many agencies need additional revenue streams.
