This one sticks out for me, assuming that WAR is still making relevant music and hasn't degenerated into an oldies act, ala Chicago and the Beach Boys.

The only one I will definitely show up for is The Black Crowes. I will also probably show up to Marquise Knox and see what WAR still has lef tin them.

OAR -- seriously? It's a frat party in 1997.

True. But like a Dave Matthews show the crowd will be 60-70% girls/women between 20 and 35. Lots of very good scenery is to be expected.

On KMOX this morning, Missy Slay said that O.A.R. had been the most-requested band on the festival's website.

Bring Back "G. Love"...the guy is a sick performer and that show absolutely ruled last summer.

I highly recommend Lapush. OAR could be decent...expect a bunch of Greek letters though

considering the Oak Ridge Boys were pretty much Fair St. Louis mainstays 20 yrs. after the rest of the country moved on from "Elvira" I'd say this is progress 8)

OAR, Umphrey's, Rusted Root. It's one big summer of jam-bands

I wouldn't even call them jam bands. More like jam-influenced Dave Matthews ripoffs.

two women in my office were talking about the "unsavory characters" that you see down at Live on the Levee and Fair St. Louis. The kicker---they are both from JeffCo  Those who live in glass meth labs shouldn't throw stones.

A bunch of guys who should be very thankful to Timbaland.

Yep, OneRepublic is big right now.

The Nickelodeon kid would probably be a hit with teeny boppers.

^yeah but you are probably a good music whore-- on the level of the Spitzer prostitute, Ashley Dupree or whatever her name was.

The music whores that know all about One Republic are akin to truck stop hos.

Probably just don't listen to newer R&B/alternative rock-ish type music then? Their 2 hits are

"Apologize" produced by Timbaland

I'm holding on your rope,

Got me ten feet off the ground

I'm hearin what you say but I just can't make a sound

You tell me that you need me

Then you go and cut me down, but wait

You tell me that you're sorry

Didn't think I'd turn around, and say...

It's too late to apologize, it's too late

I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late

And their other hit "Stop & Stare"

This town is colder now, I think it's sick of us

It's time to make our move, I'm shakin off the rust

I've got my heart set on anywhere but here

I'm staring down myself, counting up the years

Steady hands, just take the wheel...

And every glance is killing me

Time to make one last appeal... for the life I lead

Stop and stare

I think I'm moving but I go nowhere

Yeah I know that everyone gets scared

But I've become what I can't be, oh

Stop and stare

You start to wonder why you're 'here' not there

And you'd give anything to get what's fair

But fair ain't what you really need

Oh, can u see what I see

Wait, there's an R&B/Alternative rock genre now? What is that, Babyface dueting with Nickleback?

Well, I hesitate to call them R&B, but their first big hit could probably be called that, especially since it was produced by Timbaland.

Stop & Stare would probably be alternative rock.
