Fifth Street Makeover

Discuss new retail, dining, business and residential projects within St. Charles County, including St. Charles, O'Fallon, St. Peters, Wentzville and more.
For better or worse, just as long as it's expensive:

My favorite:
“When you get off the highway right there, you just don’t know what St. Charles has to offer because it looks like every other place in the United States. We need to make it a little more St. Charles-like,”

Too bad they didn't rebuild the 115 (St. Charles Rock Road) bridge in the same location.

Then there would be a bridge that takes you specifically into the downtown historic area.

Ideally it would have a dedicated biking/pedestrian area like the McKinley bridge and perhaps a riverfront park and marina on the St. Louis County side.
