Kirkwood approves 'Kirkwork', a new office building

Discuss new retail, dining, business and residential projects within St. Louis County, including Chesterfield, Riverport, Earth City, Westport and more.
To be built at S. Kirkwood Blvd. and Big Bend.
Mayor Tim Griffin and the Kirkwood City Council last week unanimously approved a final site plan for the 14,500-square-foot, one-story building known as Kirkwork.

Plans include 54 parking spaces around the perimeter of the one-acre site, as well as landscaping. A shared work space, of just under 2,500 square feet, will be provided for tenants in the center of the new building, city officials said.
Terrible name and likely a pretty mediocre end result, but it's something, I guess. Looks like they plan to demolish 4 existing commercial structures and a house. No real loss on any of the planned demos, however (10727-10741 Big Bend; 126 Prospect Avenue).
