Right on phenomenal news!
Hey i want to wish you the best of luck on this journey and no matter high the obstacle may be I'm confident you can pull this off... Sounds very exciting and wish you nothing but success and hopefully this will trigger a renewed interests in all of Downtown E.St.Louis. This will only add to St.Loui...
I had thought about the Millennium Hotel as a possible Hard Rock hotel the other day.. I think Hard Rock should and stay downtown
Nothing is going to change until St.Louis City & County leaders are serious about real change... Unity between the 2 is desperately needed however they're dragging their feet's on the most important problem with St.Louis and the region & thats not combining them together which is a no brainer... I s...
Hard Rock Cafe will no longer be at the Union Station anymore & apparently they are going to look at other locations which i think Hard Rock Cafe would fit perfectly in the Landing or Jeff Arms Wash Ave and or possibly Railway Exchange but i think the Landing would be perfect close to the Arch Casin...
Likely one reason Downtown may seem so mundane is the lack of retail.. Once more rehabs are finished that will begin to change more and more.. I can honestly say Downtown St.Louis has come a long ways from what it once was and yes theres lots of room for improvement like getting more employers to in...
How about hosting some pre season NBA games? I think theres a lot more basketball fans than most people would guess & sounds like the people/experts that don't think St.Louis is a honorable city for the NBA don't like St.Louis.. I'm not sure what makes the other cities more desirable or extinguishab...
How much would a NBA expansion fee cost? I would assume a lot more than the NHL expansion.. Theres no Denying KC is growing & seems to be the go 2 city for Missouri however while there may be fan support i couldn't see KC pulling this off without good corporate support... I really don't think the NB...
What happens if this falls through? As excited i am about this still having a chance of happening I'm content with it not happening & hopefully this little building gets a good rehab
According to Post Dispatch Square will be adding 300 jobs over the next 5 years within Cortex.. They'll be leasing an additional 56,000 square feet of office space in the Cortex 1 building @ 4320.. Great news for St.Louis & Cortex :D
Some reason this feels awkward with me visiting the Arch & knowing how strict the security is to get in there i would have thought BPV would have been just as strict specially with the overall perception of downtown.. I do feel like this was a freak happening & could have happened anywhere.. This wo...
Is this suppose new high-rise going to 50 floors & 458 ft  seriously if this gets built it will look very out of range with the rest of the skyline however wasn't at one time where Lumiere Casino stands proposed as a new convention hotel & to be the tallest building in St.Louis?
Apparently John Collins-Muhammad was arrested on a outstanding warrants after he rear ended a car while driving without a valid license & no proof of insurance according to the business journal.. I think the smart way is to keep what the voters voted on by reducing the number of alderman.. I think t...
Sometimes i like sifting through other cities on news for development & saw that in Portland Oregon a developer is proposing a 33 story tower with a possible height of 410 ft on a prominent downtown food cart pod, anyways yesterday i sat on the Kiener Lawn staring at the old county courthouse then g...
I would like to think that all those dilapidated buildings near & along the river are very salvageable & someday will make for a great region wide destination.. Everything is easier said than done
I know theres a dave & Busters in Earth City however was curious on how any of you might feel about a Dave & Busters or something similar to that in downtown? I would think something like that would be a big draw not only for locals in the city but families that are coming to visit St.Louis includin...
Theres a mention of prospects have come forth & they continue to have conversations with interested companies per business journal but theres no mention if theres going to be retail in any of those office buildings. My question is are all 3 of the new office buildings suppose to be 5 floors? I'm curi...
Anything is achievable & downtown is only as dangerous as we allow it be.. Clayton has crime though in small doses but theres always that thing called perception. Whoever decides to settle into the former at&t high-rise has so many options around them & amenities.
If you seriously feel attacked by my comment then you're in for a real hurting on what people say about St.Louis on other forums... I said I felt attacked. I didn't say I feel hurt. Takes a lot more to do that to me. I have lived in St. Louis City all 31 years of my life and I have a Master's in Ur...
Isn't KC borderline post industrial? I've never really considered KC a rust belt type city
My favorite midwest cities outside of St.Louis 1.Minneapolis 2.Cincinatti 3.Grand Rapids 4.Kansas City 5.Des Moines 6.Detroit 7.Cleveland 8.Inianapolis 9.Columbus 10.Chicago I don't know much about Milwaukee i only drove through it on my way back from Duluth Minnesota and never had enough time exper...
I really, really hope this gets started soon i like the updated rendering a lot
Actually not a bad looking building One Cardinal Way has a bit more pizazz to it however i'll gladly take this building & incorporate it into phase 3 of BPV... Its good to know that the 2 council women didnt derail this project...
I'm hoping these 2 cranes alone will be trend setters for downtown
Has any read the Riverfront times piece on the 556 people we gained this census? I thought it was funny but informative and cool.. Its good that they're focused on the positive's and not the negatives
