Agree 100% I would not mind hanging them off the new bridge might as well get our money worth out the bridge for what a bust that was.. Surely it wasn't intentional but this conjures up some unsettling historical imagery, especially if you think about what happened across that river 100 years ago. ...
^ so are you part of the business community pushing for this line? How far along in the process are you? This should be our regions #1 transportation priority. No I am not directly in it but I am already in touch with people in the business community and local leaders. We are planning to have a mee...
I been working with people to help start a group to build and unite public support and to push our leaders for a N/S metro-link expansion. https://www.facebook.com/MoreSTLMero
I'm totally okay with the police roughing up violent offenders. They've earned it. The gangtrash of STL deserves only the most exquisite level of police brutality. Agree 100% I would not mind hanging them off the new bridge might as well get our money worth out the bridge for what a bust that was.....
Today in the Journal. How commercial landlords are betting that the growing residential population may lead to a growing business community. Downtown LA has a lot of vacant space. In my experience there, downtown LA has a lot in common with downtown STL. In Office Market, L.A. Is a Real Drag Russel...

French talks a lot but he never really has any ideas.
Given the concentration of public housing, and therefore poverty, east of Truman, I'd say the residents of LS absolutely have a right to demand waiting for a market solution. If someone is hot to develop subsidized housing, let them do it in Clayton or Chesterfield. The city is done warehousing the...

So how can wash ave refresh its self? i know people that live downtown and they go to the grove to eat more
Do you guys think Cherokee street and The grove are stealing business from wash ave? Even just 4 years ago the grove and Cherokee street were not nearly as strong as they are now.

Did anybody ever been to wash ave at night recent and if you did what were the crowds like?
I do wish The state would make marijuana cafes Legal On the landing. For example the sate could make a law that allow the city to open 5 marijuana cafes and one strip club on the landing. We already have a casino there so it would not be to much out of the norm. Also that area of the city is cut off...
^ Yes, 505 Washington! Let's seal the deal! Good question on 720 Olive... I suppose if the remaining tenants remain there may not be a whole lot of vacancy to absorb. I also wonder what the Union Trust owners have in mind, especially after the loss of Anders.... I could see that one going residenti...

I bet dollars to donuts all of those involved had priors. If stricter sentencing keeps the small percentage of citizens who consider rolling gun battles an acceptable way to solve disputes out of society I'm all for it! Legalize pot and lock up these guys till they're too old to lift an AR15 Agree ...

The city should should raise the earnings tax to pay for more police officers. Imagen if the city earnings tax was 2% that would be about 300 million more in the city funds and just use 1/3 of the 300 million to hire more cops. One problem no one ever talks about is dose the city have enough officers.
Have to love the local news spinning small sample size #'s to present an alarming crime story. I'm so sick of that crap I can hardly watch it. There was a rash of auto thefts in the neighborhood earlier in the year. Does it suck? Yes. Is it a good reflection of the state of the neighborhood? No. OM...
