JAL007 is one of the biggest trolls on this thread. He/She does not live in STL or anywhere close. Is clueless on stats (pointing out Neiman Marcus and Saks ...good grief) and loves to fly into this thread to dog on STL. His/Her posts are nothing more than hearsay, biased, clueless, irrelevant and ...
I find these developments out of PIT...interesting. AFAIK, the Pittsburgh metro is shrinking and is not seeing economic growth. Also, as jshank pointed out, they have really poor west coast offerings. Bitter much? PIT actually has a fair amount in common with STL (similar size MSAs, both have city ...

On Bayer and NC...I don't think I understand the question. That's all happening. https://www.stltoday.com/business/local/after-nearly-two-year-merger-process-bayer-finally-owns-monsanto/article_d3b5e388-cafb-5157-a2f9-d3a4b78ea13b.html The St. Louis region will become Bayer’s North American headqua...
Serious question.

What are the odds of St. Louis being able to woo Bayer out of North Carolina?

I have heard a few people discuss this around my office, and I curious if this is actually...a thing.
** our city. St Louis is a metro of 3+ Million, lol.

But yes, this is a huge deal. Not to mention, this is the 100th PGA Championship. This is a HUGE win for the region to get this here.
So I happened to sit in on a very interesting conversation at a dinner earlier with some of my coworkers who brought the general talking point of " St Louis VS Missouri". I have always been so perplexed by the relationship between MO and STL. I know it all boils down to politics, but I really cannot...
Given this is a ST LOUIS forum, if anyone from ST LOUIS would like to post about this with a ST LOUIS centric opinion, I am welcome to hear it.

. Recently, I had heard that they were more strongly leaning towards KC.

That's it, everyone! STL is dead! Let's all move to Kansas City!
Over the last few years, after each BA announcement, I have contacted STL to get their opinion or other info. I've always gotten a substantial answer, saying that "STL is always pursuing TATL, and that it is a 'priority for the airport' to gain service to London and other major European markets, etc...
If anyone is interested in the reactions to the PIT announcement, check out the Columbus peeps. Obviously, a more dire situation for them, as they have been passed for a 7th time on TATL service.
Now, before we panic about this PIT announcement, I remain certain that STL will get another TATL announcement this August. I am interested to see how much money PIT threw at BA. If it is anything more than $5 Million, then we are definitely out. I do find this somewhat questionable though on the s...
KMOV is reporting that Bird is operating without a permit. Krewson says the removal of the scooters will begin immediately. Why does Krewson hate fun! haha. I am sure they will end up getting it worked out. It isn't like a permit is that much. Technically it says: According to officials, there is a...
Ofo is leaving the St. Louis market. With this departure, I would expect to see an additional dockless come into the market. My guess would be MoBike.

Per Alexis Zotos on twitter, Ofo is leaving the US.

No word on what’s going to happen here in STL.
^^^ Would be nice if someone would post these pictures over on KCRag, considering they do that all the time here. I Tried to do just that i registered 3 weeks ago and my account still has not been activated. smh KCRag intentionally does not activate accounts that they can trace to UrbanSTL.

^ driving westbound on 40/64 is pretty cool; great views by the IKEA too with the 100 crane; if Koman gets that Cortex building right by the highway that will be really an eye-opener for folks passing through. Anyway, I think that drive separates significantly denser Saint Louis from pretenders lik...
When coming over the Poplar Street Bridge, for around 0.7 of a second, you can see all the Central Corridor cranes. It truly gives such an awesome view. Not gonna lie, I've longed for the day to see the St Louis skyline dotted with cranes- finally its here. Also of note, at Fair St Louis the other d...
Watched a bit of the presser, and I think the most telling question was "What is Sun Country?" Not to be a bit of a downer, but even Rhonda seemed 'meh' about this. Seriously though, two times per week?? How can that even be profitable? Again, I'm still very excited that an airline is choosing to se...
It's officially Sun Country. Tampa and Fort Meyers. 2x per week.

As happy as I am that this is new service, there is seriously no way these routes will be remotely successful. I give them 6 months.
Great addition. Look, I’m not upset about this. This is a cool add for the airport and provides us with more service. I’m eager to see what destinations they serve.

As many have also said, I have heard rumblings that there will be an announcement in August as well.
Out of curiosity, when will we see some more movement on this site? I drive by this daily and I can’t wait for it to finally get underway.
^^ I saw this also. Looks like a very nice rendering.
