Based on that limited description, I hope they go full tiki bar with it.
Can't tell if this is a joke since it says in the article they won't do that.
https://www.flystl.com/uploads/documents/directions/STL-Terminals-Transportation-Map-2017.pdf The airport updated their map. Changes I noticed: Air Canada to gate A17. (Which we already knew about) Air Choice One now only has 1 gate instead of 2. (since they are walk out gates I am not sure how much...
Curious to know as well. I was on my second level at that time and it sounded like it was right outside and going to hit my house. I almost tweeted to see if anyone knew what it was. Pretty loud. Did this happen to anyone else again this morning? I have planes go over my place pretty regularly but ...
I went ahead and did January flight frequency numbers. I skipped December because the schedules change so much day to day with the holidays. Most airlines are down flights from November (not surprising). January is pretty slow usually. Southwest is down 30 flights a week from November from 707 a wee...
Looks like there was a Delta 767 in town today. Guessing it was a charter but still would have been cool to see something different.

Curious how Amazon feels about this. Google is creating what they call a landscraper for their London headquarters. Instead of being tall it is really long and short. Good thing we have plenty of land either way. http://metro.co.uk/2017/12/04/how-googles-landscraper-london-headquarters-shows-us-how-...
Just a PSA. AA and SW are running big sales on flights to PHX/FLL right now. Southwest has $33 one way to phx and $27 one way to FLL in Jan/Feb on Tues/Wed/Sat. AA has some RT for 65 to PHX
^I almost always look at prices on gas buddy before I fill up to see who has the lowest gas on my route. I won't go out of my way but I'll stop where ever is cheapest on it. Seeing that most of the people working in the city probably live in the county, I figure they would just fill up in the county...
No reason to spend too much time on something that is at least 4 years away anyway. Who knows what things will be like by then.
This would probably lead to an IL/MO type situation where you see a bunch of gas stations pop up just on the other side of the city limits. I would also guess a fair amount gas stations just inside the city limits end up going out of business. So the number would be smaller. Not saying that should i...
They need to just build another garage where LotE is. I am assuming expanding T2 garage higher isn't a feasible option. Although the part of T2 that isn't covered you would think they could build levels above that part.
^I am guessing our domestic network is a lot better than most of the other medium airports so that offsets the dominate carrier. All those airports you listed don't have the flights or route network we have domestically. I got that part of their criteria, but I'm still confused as to where they got...
“Of course, it’s an airport’s job to try to steal traffic from other airports, but it’s probably not going to happen because of the new terminal, but what will happen is that now Southwest will be able to connect more people through Kansas City,” he says.” http://stlouis.cbslocal.com/2017/12/04/new...

Those parking lots off of Springdale Ave on the southeast corner for the 170/70 interchange seem to have cars again. Wasn't that employee parking for TWA back in the heydays of the 90's and early 2000's? Who is using those lots now? It was enterprise. It's a 5 year lease with a 5 year option after ...

I noticed (mainly because it is the route I fly the most) that Southwest has started adding back in STL-Oakland routes in January and March. It originally had the route take a break from January to March 15th or so. I am guessing because they weren't sure what their airplane capacity would be. Now i...
Jonesboro service will continue. After losing EAS spots of Cape, Quincy and (probably) Decatur it is good someone is sticking around.

I saw PIT just got a flight to Montreal on Air Canada (express). I am curious if there is any demand here for a flight somewhere else in Canada besides Toronto. I am not sure what kind of business ties we have with Montreal. Vancouver is probably too far away. Nashville has a 2x weekly to Calgary on...
Any one able to get pictures of Air Force One landing at Lambert today? I'm surprised he didn't fly into Scott AFB instead. I'd have imagined security would have been easier... Probably because this is a lot closer to where he is going than driving a motorcade (and shutting down roads) all the way ...
Well we know Rawlings is one of the spaces. So that will have some kind of retail, I am sure. Probably not what you are talking about though.

I ride Metro most visits to CWE, so parking is moot. But will this place be open past 3pm or so? That's my main concern. Sounds like an 11am-2pm M-F type joint to me.
All of the local college locations are open through dinner also. SLU/SIUe til 10 pm. I figure this one will be similar.
I still don't know why they had to get it from the Blues. Why doesn't the city have its own copy? I don't have a problem with people thinking The Blues should pay for all the upgrades. If there isn't more to the lease than what you posted and there hasn't been revision then they obviously should be....
EDIT: These can't be full Nov numbers. It is through Nov 28 but it is almost the full month. They don't have any flights tomorrow, so just one day they still need. Through November, BLV passengers are up 53% over last year. They cleared 200K for the first time ever. Based on last year I would guess ...
The BOA was incompetent, no doubt. But the Blues were treacherous. They kept the lease from the BOA and knowingly misrepresented it. I simply can't fathom how the BOA should shoulder all the blame for this. You can't have both "I don't think we can say they aren't good citizens" and "Welp, they f*c...
