Why would the Cardinals want this building, other than to control more land directly around the ballpark? I'm guessing that's the reason. Kind of like the Cubs buying all the buildings/land around Wrigley they can get their hands on. Better (in their minds) they are the ones to build on it and make...
Sorry on the confusion, I wasn't talking WOW specifically with my comment. I just meant stage lengths in general. Plane type and airline factors into that also. If I'm doing an overnight I want a long leg. If I'm doing a day flight that I don't plan on sleeping, then a stop in the middle to stretch ...
^Coming back I would want it split up equal but going I would want a short then long to try to get better sleep overnight.
WOW is flying to India and St. Louis will be one of the US cities it will be offered from (With a stop in Iceland, obviously). Long flight but $199 each way promotion. https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/18/05/r11711156/today-wow-air-announces-new-route-from-the-u-s-to-india-via-iceland They als...

Train related so putting this here. I don't know much about this company but the trains look nice. Dallas-Houston is the “most obvious” place for private passenger service, he said, but he also cited Charlotte-Atlanta and Chicago-St. Louis. “There are others that we’re evaluating,” Goddard said. htt...
I've seen a fair amount of tweets lately of people complaining that T2 is really hot (A/C not working or not working well) Anyone know what is going on with that?
^A cursory glance at the article would glean the information that the building was never owned by Express Scripts, but why not just make references to AT&T. I'm not saying the same might not occur, but it's usually good to at least gloss over the subject matter you comment on. I did read it but did...
As someone who semi recently moved from the city to the county and wants some kind of city/county merger, stuff like this doesn't help my case. If the city can't even get it together, how do they expect people in the county to change their minds and help a merger to happen. I just hope the turnout i...
http://fox2now.com/2018/05/11/express-scripts-looking-to-sell-its-headquarters/ Even though Express Scripts Is downplaying the situation and saying they’re committed to St. Louis, does anyone have a concern about the sale of their headquarters building? Is this a harvester of things to come down th...
Any word on the pilot base? Has allegiant ever done a study where their BLV passengers are coming from? New passengers or siphoning off from lambert? I know I’ve suggested this in the past but I really think connecting BLV to metrolink would be a game changer. Potential balloon for allegiant. How m...
February numbers are in

41,639 for the year. Still up 108%

It is a little crazy to see how fast Allegiant has grown over there. Already higher numbers than all of 2014. Probably will move ahead of 2015 after March. They might pass 2016 by mid year.
My vote for SWA to add a flight from St Louis is Cincinnati. Delta charges a ton for this flight. Also agree on Birmingham as well. That would be a good market to add. STL-CVG has come down a bunch in price. It is like $170 round trip now (like you said it used to be closer to 300 or 400). They low...
Apparently, Southwest started STL-CHS early (May 7). I didn't do a frequency chart for May because their extension was for April and May then the next one was for June. I figured April and May was the same. STL-CHS is running mon-thursday and Saturday. No Friday or Sunday until the June extension wh...
Saw this article on old train stations turned into hotels (oddly enough tweeted out by Frontier Airlines).

A couple paragraphs and pics about Union Station.

Has Southwest ever had a nonstop between STL and JAX? I always thought it was American that had one that wasn't every day of the week and they got rid of it like 5 or 6 years ago. The two times I've gone to Jacksonville, I've flown to MCO and driven up. Not that I am aware of, but I haven't been ke...
Nonstop service to JAX announced today on Frontier. Does anyone else seem to think this is an odd choice/route selection for Frontier to make? I can see a more tourist/gulf beaches destination and or Orlando/Ft Lauderdale in FL but Jacksonville just seems odd fight for Frontier where as a Southwest...

The other individual stated that, "the tower could be built at 1101 Lumiere Place Boulevard on the site of the America's Best Value Inn". I would be very happy with this. If they are set on making it north of Lumiere then I also am hoping this is the spot. No need to put it further north than this.
AA is dropping Trans States as a regional operator next year. Guess that means less 145s on AA. Curious how it will impact things here at Trans States. I think they will only fly for United now. Their other subsidiaries still fly for others.
A few notes from the April commission meeting. 1. There followed a discussion regarding the financial impact of opening the remaining nine (9) gates in the D Concourse. The Chairperson advised that the cost is estimated at over $5 million, plus the additional costs of maintenance on the walkways and...
Whatever happened to the daily flights to Cancun that Southwest was supposed to start in March? I remember the news coming out saying they were increasing their flights from once a week to daily but it never happened and I don't recall hearing anything about it. http://www.kmov.com/story/35987848/s...
Southwest announced they will fly to Hawaii from Sacramento, San Jose, San Diego, and Oakland. I guess it's good we have service to all of those now. Since they don't do redeyes, it will be interesting to see how they try to funnel people back east. I'm sure west coast travelers are their focus thou...
