Holy sh*t-- they are all over the damn city! Flamingo Bowl, the riverfront, the Mayfair Hotel, etc. Totally trashy show, but St. Louis looks great!

I'm not sure I can watch a show that Mind numbingly stupid, but I'll give it a try.

Those girls are absolute trash. I wish they'd stay out of here. Other than that, yeah I'll be watching to see some nice shots of the city.

Ughhghghhg. I just watched the preview, and it makes my brain hurt. I hope for the sake of our future as a species, that these women have been selectively edited, but more importantly, all have the most barren of wombs.

That said, I'd like to watch tonight to see if St. Louis is portrayed positively at all.

I watched Trampfest on Wheels

Started watching at 8. At the beginning, they showed the arch once, and they stopped at Larry Flynt's.

At 8:20 They went riverboating, 8:22 at the Mayfair, commercial 8:28 riverboat 8:38 Mayfair 8:40 a split-second shot of the courthouse. 8:41 Flamingo Bowl 8:49 a shot of the arch. Then 8:58 leaving the city.

Nothing special. Unless you normally watch the show, I would not recommend watching it. It gave me a headache, probably because I lost a few thousand brain cells. What a stupid, stupid show.

I'm assuming it's the same episode at 10, I plan on recording it so I can skip around if it's as mind numbing as I understand. But all of the clips I've seen of the show in the past have been full of scantily clad women, so I might be able to suffer through it :D

I work with a few people that watch it religiously, which is kind of sad :(

As a woman, I have no interest in seeing that.

But it is just so stupid. How can people watch these dating shows? Bret Michaels actually acts like he thinks putting 20 tramps on a bus will help him find his true love.

I don't find Bret Michaels that attractive, but it might be because he's a month younger than my mom.

That show is just awful. I lost like 5 IQ points just watching it.

The girls are disgusting AND dumb. I was flipping through and saw the Mayfair Hotel, so I had to watch. I absolutely hate these types of shows, even if the girls were pretty.

I guess I should feel like an idiot for not realizing they had riverboat tours. I guess I never really thought about it, actually. Are there any "tours" that are good for locals, or is it all just expensive touristy stuff?

Ughhghg. I made the mistake of watching this too. I think they find him attractive because they're vacuous quasi-whores who think he is their ticket onto the gravy train.

I'm certain I lost some intelligence from watching this. It did make me want to devise some sort of drinking game - maybe then it would get better mid episode, once I'm sloshed.

Hi guys. Welcome to pop culture in 2009. How is any of this surprising to anyone?

Exactly. Wife was watching "The Girls Next Door" that follows Hugh Hefner's live in girlfriends. A woman whose daughter was turning 18 wrote in and said it would just be a dream if they could come visit. Hef let them visit, and the mom told Hef that the 3 girls are "such great role models."

Ah, I'm a very accepting liberal with a very small tolerance for idiocy.

Though I'd probably watch a show like "Ow, My Balls!" /idiocracy

one can be accepting and tolerant of all kinds but still call it out for the vapid idiocy it is.

And are conservatives really opposed to trashy TV and it's icons?

They may denounce it as evidence of a culture on the decline, but when it comes to policy their only position seems to be to lower the taxes of Paris Hilton and Bret Michaels.

As you can see, yes, that is a good thing. 8)

I've never seen the show, but I remember Bret Michaels, and I had the misfortune of hearing his music sometimes back in the day thanks to friends with less-than-discerning taste in music then. My musical guilty pleasures aren't quite that bad. At least I can honestly say I never liked his music, nor have I ever had a mullet. But the mental image is enough to make me steer clear of this show, even if (1) St. Louis is represented well and (2) there are plenty of just-as-bad examples of trash TV these days. Funny that someone mentioned Idiocracy- sometimes I think we're already there.

Oh, and how did this turn into another conservative vs. liberal discussion?

One stupid question from someone who must be too young to know.

Who the hell is Bret Michaels anyway? I know Shawn Michaels, and Bret Hart, but no Bret Michaels. From his looks, obviously from a hair band, but which one?

edit: Poison. Whoever the hell that is.

I'm an elitist music snob, but I have no problem saying I love me some hair metal.
