KOTA Wood Fire Grill plans to open in February at 522 N. Grand. This is the former Reggie's Backstage location, directly across from the Fox Theater. They're having a private soft opening this weekend.

Now open. It's got a nice atmosphere and the food was pretty good. They had a decent crowd last night, so hopefully this place will break the Grand Center jinx.

The reviews seem to be pretty consistent. I think we're going to check it out for lunch this week.

KOTA is operated by the same group that runs Triumph Grill a couple of blocks away. They seem to know what they're doing.

I've been twice now and love the place! Good reviews on yelp also, but hate to see the mixed review from Bonwich.
